This Moment - A Friday Ritual - Bubble Magic......

A photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week.

A simple, special, extraordinary moment.

A moment you want to pause, savour and remember.
“This Moment” was introduced to me by Sarah-Jane of Almost There and Alejandro of Raising Amelie

Mari this shot is breathtaking...I too am stumped as to what it is. It looks like a sea creature with all it's little feathers reaching out...the colour is beautiful...not to mention the water droplets. You continue to amaze...

This image was taken while walking along the Fraser River in Vancouver. Caught in the moment...a Crow reaching for a branch...

Mari - You've got all of us wondering what this mysterious plant/ creature is? Fascinating, to say the least...

no idea what I am looking at, but I love it!!

My moment was a bit of a cheat this week, due to camera woes.

It's a succulent plant called "Hens'N'Chicks"  with water drops- I wanted an abstract looking photo just for fun.

I was trying to figure this out, looked like a cactus but the perspective is concave rather than convex as they are. A trick on the eye with the close up shot .

Awesome shot!  Love anything with water drops that look like crystal!

Mari Sterling Wilbur said...

Me too - and we get lots of rain here.

My first reaction at seeing this beautiful shot was "what in the world is this?!, I've read through other comments, now I know :). It looks wonderful.

What an amazing photo. I had to read through the comments, too, to find out what it was, but does it matter? I can totally get lost in that photo.

David Smith said...

Couldn't figure out exactly what I was looking at though I knew it was a plant related pic. The shot is so interesting and complex that I find myself staring at it in hopes of understanding it better. Great photo and thanks for sharing!! :)

Mari Sterling Wilbur said...

It was fun to cause confusion for a while :D

Mari Sterling Wilbur said...

Wow - I love your comment "I can totally get lost in that photos" - makes me feel good! I thought it was quite zen/peaceful myself.
