This Moment
"A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember."
“This Moment” is a ritual found on Life inspired by theWee Man adopted from SouleMama which was introduced to me by Sarah-Jane, author of Almost There. If you find yourself touched by a Moment and would like to participate, post your picture on a Friday and leave your link in the comments section.

What a precious child...his expression is priceless.
Nice snap !! excellent work
He is mischievous in a typical little boy fashion. He's a sweetheart as is his sister.
I love the way he focused right in on my camera lens. It's like he's saying "bring it on life"! :D
He was a perfect little model. He loved posing for me - followed my directions, looked up, looked down, smiled, frowned - I can picture a career as an actor for this little guy :D
He loved posing :D I'm so happy his parents let me use his photos on my blog. That is very nice of them.
Glad to have you swing on by. Hope you will keep following my posts. I love your blog.
No, not my son or even my grandson. Just a little guy who loves to pose for the camera. :D
He's a real sweetie - I love his blue eyes. :D
No problem about the video clips. Your photos are beautiful - I'd love to have you post some on my blog as a guest photographer. I'll have to keep your name handy. I'll be looking for guests in another few weeks when I'm done with this current series on aperture/depth of field and next ISO and shutter speed. Then I'd like to have some guest photos :D
David - thank you for your comment. He had a great time posing for me :D

So fresh and stunning colors.. the eyes and the cheeks.
I love potrait photography but am not a pro, only hobby..
caught my little baby learning to blow bubbles!
An old photo using Leica SL2 many years ago.
What a beautiful photo you took of him and what a beautiful baby he was. He must be a very handsome young man. Thank you for sharing your photo. I'm not a pro either although I studied photography and art in college. My blog is for beginning to advanced hobbyist photographers not pros. :D
Kriti - thank you.
sometimes I wish they stay young forever..
Bless him! He is very cute and a brilliant photograph indeed.
My first time visiting your blog. (thank you for leading me here via your comment on my blog) I am so envious of your talent. Hopefully, I will learn a thing or two from you. My point and click level of talent (or lack there of) could use some of your guidance. That picture is flawless. It looks like it could start talking.
Wow Mari...I love this photo...he is beautiful...and it is amazing how the shot looks colour co-ordinated.It draws you in and makes you wonder...what is he thinking....you truly caught a moment. His eyes mesmerizing....

Working Tugs on the Fraser River with parts of the city behind it. A hazy Indian Summer Day....( I tried to post this on my comment, but sometimes the picture does not load in. It just seems to get stuck in Just a Moment. Still is not posting. Do I need to set up a login?
I love this photo and the nice haze in the air. The photo reminds me of this Seattle area with all the Ferries and tugs. Yes, maybe a login would help. Lots of people seem to have trouble posting photos which is frustrating me. Let me know if the log-in works :D
The best part is that he loved posing for me :D
Welcome. My posts are for people using Point and Shoot cameras and dSLRs. Beginners to more advanced hobbyist. So, depending on a persons level some posts take some thinking and practice and for some the posts are quite easy. If you have any questions just fire away. I'm always glad to help.
Thank you so much for your kind comment.
Those eyes just draw you in...beautiful!
He's a friend's grandson and a gorgeous kid in all ways :D
