This Moment

This Moment
"A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week.  A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember."
“This Moment” is a ritual found on Life inspired by theWee Man adopted from SouleMama which was introduced to me by Sarah-Jane, author of Almost There. If you find yourself touched by a Moment and would like to participate, post your picture on a Friday and leave your link in the comments section.

I love the way he focused right in on my camera lens. It's like he's saying "bring it on life"! :D

He was a perfect little model. He loved posing for me - followed my directions, looked up, looked down, smiled, frowned - I can picture a career as an actor for this little guy :D

Mari Sterling Wilbur said...

He loved posing :D I'm so happy his parents let me use his photos on my blog. That is very nice of them.

What a beautiful photo you took of him and what a beautiful baby he was. He must be a very handsome young man. Thank you for sharing your photo.   I'm not a pro either although I studied photography and art in college. My blog is for beginning to advanced hobbyist photographers not pros. :D

My first time visiting your blog. (thank you for leading me here via your comment on my blog)  I am so envious of your talent.  Hopefully, I will learn a thing or two from you.  My point and click level of talent (or lack there of) could use some of your guidance. That picture is flawless.  It looks like it could start talking.

Working Tugs on the Fraser River with parts of the city behind it. A hazy Indian Summer Day....( I tried to post this on my comment, but sometimes the picture does not load in. It just seems to get stuck in Just a Moment. Still is not posting. Do I need to set up a login?

Mari Sterling Wilbur said...

I love this photo and the nice haze in the air.  The photo reminds me of this Seattle area with all the Ferries and tugs.  Yes, maybe a login would help. Lots of people seem to have trouble posting photos which is frustrating me. Let me know if the log-in works :D

Mari Sterling Wilbur said...

The best part is that he loved posing for me :D

Mari Sterling Wilbur said...

Welcome. My posts are for people using Point and Shoot cameras and dSLRs. Beginners to more advanced hobbyist. So, depending on a persons level some posts take some thinking and practice  and for some the posts are quite easy. If you have any questions just fire away. I'm always glad to help.

Thank you so much for your kind comment.
