This Moment - A Friday Ritual - Teatime

"A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week.  A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember."

“This Moment” is a ritual found on Life inspired by The Wee Man adopted from SouleMama which was introduced to me by Sarah-Jane, author of Almost There. If you find yourself touched by a Moment and would like to participate, post your picture on a Friday and leave your link in the comments section so we can all visit and share your moment.

Ok...I'm not going to follow the masses here, but I'll admit my first response was "Oh a tea party!"  Then I realized that I don't drink tea.  Then I wondered if I could still wrangle an invite without a taste for tea!  =)

Beautiful moment Mari.  I'm not usually a fan of pastels, but this still makes me smile!

Here's my moment...http://really-wait-what.blogspot.com/2011/10/friday-moment-10711.html

Lovely moment in time that is captured here.  I have two young nephews, so tea parties aren't de rigeur.  Instead, we have peanut butter sandwich making parties with all sorts of strange combinations the boys dream up for their meals.  Childhood is delightful...for the kids and the adults.  Thank you for the smiles, Mari!

Thank you Bonnie.

Boys and tea parties don't mix. The little brother of the girls clattered the tea set all over, the girls screamed and they all ran off. Wish I'd caught that on camera but they were too fast for me lol.

hi mari, looks very much like a very merry and happily chaotic tea party set up... like it's just playtime for these little girls, with no real foodie and drinks you know..just organize and re organize over and over.

It doesn't seem so long ago that my little girl had a set like this.  I love the dramatic affect you placed on this photo by scattering the dishes and utensils around.  It make for a much more interesting photo :)

Actually, the girls had been playing teatime, their little brother came along and "wrecked" their party set and they all ran off screaming. I took the opportunity to snap this shot - I liked it.
